After-Market Support – Gas Drive
Keeping your equipment, systems and facilities running efficiently and safely throughout their 30-year or longer life-cycle is intrinsic to Enerflex’s integrated solutions, single-source approach. Going far beyond the standard industry service offering, we are one of the North American and global leaders in after-market support. We stand proudly behind everything we do, offering long-term maintenance/repair, parts distribution and value-added technical services, delivered in accordance with the highest safety standards.
Gas Drive, a Division of Enerflex (“Gas Drive”) was formed to manage the outside after-market services across Canada. We offer complete service over the life-cycle of your field equipment and facilities – including 24/7 callout, as well as scheduled maintenance and long-term contract maintenance. Gas Drive provides mechanical services and parts as a Power Packager of GE’s Waukesha gas engines to the oil and gas industries, and as the authorized distributor and service provider, for MAN and Jenbacher gas-fuelled engines and parts in Canada. Gas Drive is also the international distributor for Altronic ignition and control products in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea.
By working with Gas Drive, you gain compelling advantages. We have a large infrastructure of 15 locations across Canada and a state-of-the art manufacturing facility in Calgary, Alberta, and parts distribution in Calgary and Grande Prairie, Alberta. The Company has an extensive in-house inventory and 90 fully equipped field service vehicles enabling us to be anywhere you need us, fast. Best of all, we have great people with unmatched depth in gas engines, power generation, compression and processing, including more than 85 trained and certified mechanics.
In addition to unmatched experience in repairs and overhaul, we are industry leaders in compression optimization and the accompanying retrofit work. Gas Drive works with you to maximize the efficiency of your installed horsepower and extend the life of your legacy compression equipment.
Our compression and electric power generator packages are also available for rent, either on a long-term basis or for temporary compression capability while awaiting permanent installations.

Geoscience BC is a non-profit organization that receives funding from the provincial government. Our mandate is to attract mineral and oil & gas investment to British Columbia through generating, interpreting and publicly distributing geoscience data in collaboration with First Nations, communities, governments and industry.
Geoscience BC receives financial support from the province of British Columbia for our research activities. Since our inception in 2005, the Province has provided $61.7 million in funding to Geoscience BC for earth science research. Geoscience BC is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Technical direction of the organization is provided by volunteer Technical Advisory Committees (mineral exploration, oil & gas and geothermal) whose membership is largely from the exploration industry.
Many of our projects are identified through a process of requests for proposals (RFPs). We have two main RFPs: open requests for applied or innovative geoscience projects that will attract investment to BC; and targeted requests that are more directed proposals to undertake specific work, or calls for bids on specific surveys, in order to achieve program objectives. In all cases, Geoscience BC seeks collaborative and partnership projects that come with supportive funding. To date, projects funded include newly collected geoscience data, new ideas and new technologies, compilations and reprocessing of existing data, and applications of existing technologies in new areas.
As a non-government, non-profit organization, Geoscience BC is able to be flexible, responsive and entrepreneurial, and operate with relatively low overheads. It also has a unique ability to engage with communities and other non-government organizations in design and delivery of geoscience programs, and to provide information and knowledge to the public about geoscience and the exploration sector.
Geoscience BC works in collaboration with First Nations, communities, governments and industry to identify and fund applied geoscience projects to fulfill our mandate.
