FSJ Air Services Development Committee looking for public feedback on local air service

The North Peace Regional Airport and the North Peace Economic Development Commission are working together to improve air service options to the Peace River Region.

The Air Service Development committee has been struck to ensure that the North Peace Regional Airport (CYXJ) reflects the needs and economic requirements of its constituent communities by supporting the economic development and viability of those communities, meeting the needs of industry and positively contributing to the quality of life of the people of the North East.

The NP Air Service Development Committee is composed of representatives from each of the key sectors which contribute to the local economy including; Industry, local business, and the service sector as well as agriculture and government.  The key issues that have been identified are the cost of fares from Fort St John and access to service to Edmonton and Calgary.

With the help of the Fort St. John & District Chamber of Commerce the Air Service Development Committee would like to gather some information about the way that you use Airports and Air Travel.  Please complete our on line survey at http://bit.ly/fsjairsurvey
