March 18 – Guest Speaker Luncheon – John Dunn – TransCanada – Prince Rupert Gas Transmission Project

With over 30 years of industry experience, Mr. Dunn has successfully managed a diverse number of projects and issues spanning the energy value chain including natural gas pipelines, power transmission, liquefied natural gas (regas), hydrocarbon exploration and development, and has worked widely across Canada and the United States.

Since joining TransCanada in 1996, Mr. Dunn has held a number of management positions within the TransCanada organization leading up to his current role of Vice President, Prince Rupert Gas Transmission Ltd. and Director, Major Projects Development.

Prior to his career at TransCanada, Mr. Dunn worked for ATCO Pipelines and Imperial Oil (the Canadian affiliate of Exxon-Mobil).

Mr. Dunn is a graduate of the Executive Marketing Management Program at the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario, and graduated with an Honours, B.Sc. (Geology) from the University of Windsor in 1981.

Mr. Dunn is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and

Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA), is a past member of Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists, and has served on numerous industry committees including the Canadian Gas Association and Canadian Coal Association
