March 9 Luncheon – How to get a competitive edge on BC’s LNG and Major Project opportunities

How to get a competitive edge on  BC’s LNG and Major Project opportunities:
Understanding Health, Safety and Environmental expectations

This luncheon is intended to provide companies seeking to submit competitive bids with an understanding of the regulatory and project requirements related to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) that all contractors working on these projects may be expected to meet. Our PwC speaker, Wally Kosterman is a retired Technical and Process Safety manager from Shell Canada. Wally will provide exclusive insights into the HSE requirements of LNG and other major projects in BC that contractors should have in place to be competitive. Those companies that understand the HSE management system expectations will have a competitive edge when bidding on upcoming opportunities.

Bio: Wally Kosterman has worked for 34 years in the Oil and Gas Industry in the development, implementation and assurance of Process Safety and Integrity Management programs and HSSE Management Systems deployment and application of Technical Safety Engineering requirements in new and existing facilities. For the past 17 years Wally has worked for Shell Canada and has had direct involvement in LNG Canada’s proposed project in Kitimat. Wally brings a unique insight into both the regulatory and project HSE requirements that all contractors working on this and other major projects in BC should understand and prepare for as part of their HSE Management System programs.
