Progress Energy is the sister company to Pacific NorthWest LNG – the proposed liquefaction and export terminal on British Columbia’s west coast. 
 
Progress Energy will provide the natural gas feedstock to the proposed Pacific NorthWest LNG terminal.
Guest Speaker Bio:  Mark Fitzgerald, P.Eng., MBA
Senior Vice President, Production & Facilities
Mark has more than 25 years of experience in field operations, production, development, business in the oil and gas industry. In his current role, Mark is responsible for the safe, compliant and environmentally sound delivery of Progress’s field production operations, and leads the company’s infrastructure and field operations expansion strategy. He began his career with major North American producers Chevron Canada and Dominion Exploration before joining Acclaim Energy, which became Canetic Energy and then Penn West Energy. Prior to joining Progress in 2014, Mark held Sr. Vice President roles in engineering, production and development at Penn West. Mark presently sits on the board of directors for Classroom Champions, a nonprofit that connects top performing athletes with students in high-needs schools. He is also an advisor to the board for Edge School, a unique learning community where students can pursue academic excellence while striving to reach their full athletic potential.
