Description:
The Fort St. John Women’s Resource Society strives to empower women and girls with the tools to improve the quality of their own lives. They are committed to promoting equality, safety and well being to the women of our community. They ensure that violence against women issues are being addressed and work towards eliminating poverty in the local community. The Society provides various programming to the community such as a drop-in centre, Poverty Outreach Store, and a Poverty Law Advocacy Program.
