MLA Rob Howard to speak on the Open Skies Agreement

Air traffic is a very important vehicle for economic growth and cultural stimulation. Tourism, trade, investment, education and many other related industries are being artificially constrained by Canada’s current approach to OPEN SKIES.
There are a number of airlines wanting more access to Canada including airlines from Singapore, Taiwan and China.  These are important connections for the development of our own Gateway. Governments have collectively invested billions in pacific gateway infrastructure; we must now proceed with the policies to achieve a return on our investment.
MLA Rob Howard will be guest speaker at a Chamber luncheon on October 26th to discuss the importance of the OPEN SKIES agreements.
